Wyndham resale? Are you able to use your points for cruises, car rentals, etc?!?

My husband and I recently purchased a timeshare from Wyndham with a 10 day grace period; however, I stumbled across a deal on ebay giving me more points at 75% the cost I paid on Saturday. Being new to buying timeshares or resale timeshares, are you able to utilize your points for cruises, airlines, car rentals, etc. I know we weren't told the whole truth as they want to push the sale. Any information on resales would be very much appreciated! Thank you!
