Discreet, simple, and respecetful.?

I need a discreet, simple, and respectful way to tell a guy at my school, who could possibly be entirely straight (we are both guys, I am in grade 10, and he is in grade 12) that I like him, or a way to get him to tell me wheather or not he likes me without me having to tell him I like him...sorry it sounds a little complicated...any help would be greatly appriciated.
