Why cant people at school just leave me alone?

i cant walk through the door without everyone calling my name in a weird way and taking the p*ss out of my lisp and loss of hearing. yes, i can hear but not well, and i so have a lisp, not bad but its quite visible. why cant everyone just leave me alone and let me get on with what i want to be getting on with without hling me all the time? i just wanna be left alone =[
