WOW - How do I cure poison? (I'm a total noob)?

New WOW player. Started as a druid. There are these monsters I can beat, but they poison me. Survived the first time I fought it and I was cured of poison at the end. Will this always happen, or can I find/purchase an item that will cure poison?
