I consider myself to be a nice guy, but I'm not one of the jocks...even though the jocks are my friends...I usually hang out with the guys I personally consider my friends and don't hang out with the jocks just to look "cool" and hang out with them once in a while too...I don't smoke...but an occasional beer is good for me...I'm 16...I'm tall and I'm not fat...I have the got the reputation of "the good guy" or "good friend" and I don't get into trouble...if I sense a fight is about to start with me and another guy I just say "I was kidding man.Relax"...but I don't get good grades...I make a fool out of myself when I'm around the girl I like..like I make dumb-*** jokes and try to be the guy I personally am not...when I ask a girl out she just says "I'm sorry,but your just a really good friend" even when I barely know the chick..maybe its cause I'm an ugly duckling but I've seen guys like ringo starr marrying a bond girl...after that I believe anything is possible...but after the girl rejects they all give me a reuring smile whenever I walkby or anything and tell me personally that " ur a really nice guy and some girl would be lucky to have u" and other crap from the movies...I'm just tired of this! are looks really all that matter or do u have to be in the football/basketball team to date...this is just f*cked up..

Whenever I make fan videos comprised of clips from movies they get removed, but there are so many other videos on YouTube with the same content but they don't get removed. I just really want to know why some people's stuff gets removed and others don't. Are the people using the right kind of video editing programs or what? Cause I know of some vidders who use clips that are ripped straight from the dvds and their videos don't get nailed for copyright infringement. What gives? My husband and I have been noticing that when we take our son to the playground, he seems to be behind in his learning as far as play goes. For instance, other two year olds are able to balance themselves while using the slide, (holding their heads up), our son can't seem to do that...also his other peers, can hang on bars with their feet in the air, and he cannot, other kids crawl through tunnels and our son doesn't get the concept of crawling through, he just scoots through....finally, our toddler towers over the other two year olds, because most people think our son is 4 or 5, how do we handle these situations? Pimple/Ball on ?

A couple days ago I got a pimple looking thing on my , however, it wasn't like a mound like a pimple, it was raised and all the same height, like a cylinder, except very short. I tried rolling it around between my fingers, when I applied more pressure, it caused a stinging feeling and caused the pimple to break down into fragments, they may have felt sharp, (don't remember exactly). The more I squeezed it, the more it would break down, and it actually went away, it seemed to dissolve. When I was done dissolving the pimple, In the middle of the pimple there was a small ball like bump, (It is inside the skin, but not in the tissue of the .) I left it alone for a couple days but the ball was still there. It seems like whatever this thing is, was a ball, encased by some stuff, which for some reason dissolved or broke down when I rolled it around and manipulated it. Was this caused by a blood vessel or something? The bump is still there, and I'm wondering what the heck it is. This is really scary.

I have 3 diff types of impatiens (or busy lizys) which i bought this year n doing very well. 1. Short stems beautiful red flowers. 2-tall stems with double pink petals 3- short with nice pointd large leaves n nice dark pink petals. i have planted them all into planters in my yard as i have no garden along wi all my perianels which i startd last year. They all look really nice n i want to keep increasing the plants with cuttings n letting them multiply on their own. I know that all my plants are perenials like lavender, roses, carnations, azaleas, shrubs, etc but i was also told that impatiens are perenials and that they last for years. Now i just been told they are annuals, or bi-annuals. They look so nice that i thought they be stil here for years to come. If they are annuals. Is there any way of preserving them for next year? If i take cuttings then i suppose they wont survive over winter or can i bring them indoors over cold weather? I love to have them for next summers without buying anymore. Can anyone advise me? Landlords responsibility after flooding in rented home? uk!?

2 days before xmas, a pipe in my loft burst and water leaked to all rooms, ceilings hanging down walls destroyed and carpets soaked. i went to estate agents n told on my own were closing so i contacted landlord straight away and got directions on being able to turn water off to house. after a few hours water stopped dripping in most rooms apart from where actually burst pipe was. plumber couldnt attend till next morning so ad to stay away as damage that bad. next day plumber said like a swimming pool up there you cant stay here as ceilings are to unsafe. electrics (lights) are still not working right upstairs lights wont go off need to turn off at fuse in electric box. and all our beds, furniture, clothes destroyed. xmas eve joiner came round to put wood boards on ceiling to try n make secure - i then took it on myself to try and get house as dry as quickly as poss. vax all carpets windows open heating on full - no help from landlord - week later still staying on a friends floor as no one coming till tues. i had a fone call from estate agents demanding i pay rent. explained cost of travelling to and throw, heating up hoome etc do i not get any help with this, was told not there problem should not have made that decision myself, explained i cant live there everything i own has bin destroyed im trying my best to try and sort this. what i want to know surely all this drying and sorting should not be my responsibility - am i wrong in thinking i should have some le way with rent if 1 i cant live there, 2 ive put neally 100 hundred pound on gas as its a meter and eats like you wouldnt believe. to try and dry the property as quickly as poss. feel i am def gettin a short straw here. even next week when joiners in i still cant live there as all ceilings being pulled down. i have a 5 yr old dont trust him not getting ill with all smell n debris thats fell. not only that we have nothing to sleep sit on!! what would you advise thankyou in advance

Why can I not make myself clean?

Thin white emulsion for the inside . Varnish inside will prevent moisture absorbing ...have the same effect as plastic and will result in a wet hutch. Outside use a shed type wood stain, handy if the colour matches other buildings in the garden. The main way of keeping a hutch dry is to have a good overhang on the roof..mostly to the front with a wired gap twixt hutch and top to allow good airflow.

Recently, I have not been able to focus on anything. I never do my homework because when I pick it up, I will start to zone out. I've been to a few places that creeped me out. One was none other than Philadelphia. I didn't feel much brotherly love when I noticed the inner city looked like post-World War II Germany. I felt the same about Baltimore. When my ex-girlfriend and I drove there, that place looked like the Serbian army plowed right through it. Gangs looked very rampant. I remember scurrying out of there because I was afraid we would both end up in bodybags. I don't ride the bus back to Houston, where I grew up, for the same reason. The bus station is near the Fifth Ward in the middle of gangland. It's beyond me how the government can spend so much money nation building around the world, but we can't even fix our own streets. Many of these places look like Third World countries. Two years ago, I when I travelled to Canada, I was embarred to see how well kept the cities are there compared to ours. I went to what was supposed to be the ghetto of Vancouver, and it looked like a regular working cl neighborhood in any American city. You could leave your car unlocked, and it still wouldn't be stolen. The same was true about Toronto when I ventured there. None of the roads had potholes; there was no graffiti everywhere; the buildings were well-kept; and the sewer lines weren't bursting. What will happen if I seal a crack in the wall that has mold growing behind it?

Just moved into a rental home a month ago that we started to notice had a leak coming from the shower. Apparently some of the caulk had separated from the shower walls and water leaks down through the floorboards/wall to the garage below. There is mold in the cracks and under a ledge (which is where I think most of the damage/leaking is coming from). There is obvious water damage on the ceiling of the garage and I have a feeling that someone's tried fixing this problem before because there is an area that looks like it had been cut out before. If we clean out the cracks in the shower and re-caulk it, will mold continue to grow behind the walls?

Vaccinations for a puppy!!!HELP!!?

When you go to the vet they will tell you when you can get your dog vaccinated. At 8 weeks they can give your dog a DHPP which has the parvo vaccine in it. But you can not and I mean can not take your dog outside on leash walks or take him to dog parks this is how most dogs get parvo. If you do take them outside then you must carry them. After the 3rd DHPP vaccine then you can take your dog on leash walks and to dog parks and things like that. Rabies is given at 16 weeks and they usually give that with the 3rd DHPP. For larger breed dogs they give the Lepto vaccine along with the 2nd DHPP. Also they can give Bordetella if you are going to be kenneling your dog or taking him outside a lot. They also have a Lymes vaccine for dog that go hunting and are around ponds and things like that. The main vaccines though are DHPP, Lepto, Rabies and Bordetella.

So my computer monitor is not displaying clear at all?

Here's the story, i bought a 22in. Widescreen LCD monitor made by ENVISION for my computer. After while my computer became slow so i decided to do a clean install by wiping the harddrive and reinstalling Windows (xp home). That all went fine but now my big monitor will not display anything like it used to. Everything is all scratchy and stretched out. I noticed that it is running at a lower resolution than it used to but it wont let me increase it in Display Settings. It is a plug and play monitor so no CD or drivers came with it. Should I be worried about my tarantula?

Do I Have a Short Frenulum?

Im 18 and I had never pulled back my foreskin until the other day. I did it while I was flaccid. It was hard at first but now its easy to pull back. There is a large ring of skin at the base of the head of my when I do this. It is much harder to do this when I'm erect and Ive only done it once now. And there is still a ring of skin. I know its supposed to go down farther. I may have a short frenulum. Now I have heard of stretching, is that just for the foreskin or can you stretch the frenulum. I definitely dont want to get cirsized. So if I do infact have a short frenulum is there a way to stretch it, or will I have to get surgery. The self-probing questions you've posed are really impressive and beyond your years (sadly beyond the years of some in their 20's and 30's still!) and I can really relate to some of the issues you mentioned. Speaking from personal experience, and I'm in my 30's now - I can tell you're extremely self-aware. Being self-aware is both a blessing and a curse. It can help one reach higher levels of self improvement by humbly yzing ones shortcomings, attempting to make necessary changes and then doing an internal check as it were to see where we now stand on that issue. However, it can also be a curse. yzing every minute detail about ones actions and motivations can cause one to eventually become very anxious and very self conscious. The specific questions you posed are very astute. I too found it extremely easy to feel like I almost loved someone I hadn't known long and I also really only gelled with older ones when I was in my early/mid teens. And yes, the near idolizing of someone you thought was brilliant and then when you see they aren't perfect, you begin feeling superior - I totally understand how you feel, and yes, it's quite normal for someone your age. As to your question about why you want to flaunt your diagnosis as it were... I know with myself, because I felt sooo different from my peers when I was a teen, and because I didn't feel I could identify with my own parents who I felt minimized me and really didn't offer the amount of love, attention and praise a child should be given, I began to look for attention from negative sources, ie. the illnesses you've adopted. While it's certainly not impossible for teens to have a diagnosis of Bipolar, Schizo-Affective or Borderline Personality Disorders, I can only go off of what you've written here and extrapalate. And I think perhaps that some of the isolation you might feel from your peers, coupled with your intelligence and perhaps (and I'm going to go out on a limb here) a lack of praise equal to that which you need and deserve from your folks or other older ones in your life who are very important to you, is making you believe that something MUST be wrong with you. As I said, it's possible, but I really feel that you might perhaps be cursed such as I was; with being beyond your years and being accutely self aware. The mood swings unfortunately are status quo for your age and so is a disenchantment with ones you initially idolized. So perhaps, instead of reinforcing in your mind that there is and has always been something wrong with you, you can start praising yourself as much if not more and feel secure in the fact that you really are a wonderful, intelligent person with a big heart who unfortunately has a few more years of experiencing the unpleasantries incidental to youth. Do tinned fruits such as pears count towards a portion of fruit for a toddler?

My little girl eats really well, has plenty of fresh fruit (apples, bananas, gs, pineapple, oranges etc) and loads of veg (mived in with sauces and accompanying meals). She loves pears - but it's so hard to buy them ripe or keep them, they're either hard as bullets or soft and starting to go brown. They seem good for about a day! She loves tinned pears with yoghurt for tea - I buy them in g juice (she eats them without the juice anyway) - are they ok for little ones as a fruit portion. We also love the frozen blueberries, defrost a little pot in the fridge and mix with yoghurt for pudding - are these similar in nutrional value to fresh fruit? Thanks

Scratched rental Hummer...?

I rented a 2008 Hummer for work and the rental car company gave me it for a full size car price bc I am frequently renting from them. Carburetor spiback when turning engine off?

Usually, this is an indicator that the carb needs to be rebuilt, or at least, thoroughly cleaned. When the engine is shut off, the fuel supply is supposed to shut off with it. If a carb is dirty or out of adjustment, the spillage from a leaky float can cause an after run, or burp, caused by the unwanted fuel. Sometimes, you can just lower the idle speed a little to offset this. A car of this age is worth having the carb replaced or professionally re-built. Or, make it a project. I prefer Borg Warner rebuild kits. You should also consider having your heads worked on to account for the unleaded fuel that is in use today. This engine was made to use leaded fuel.There is a kit available to adapt it. Or, you can exchange the heads at the Ford dealer. For best results, install a 4 barrel intake with a Holley carb. The front barrels are smaller than the 2 barrels, will improve gas mileage and power at all engine speeds. Good Luck!! Also,convert the engine to electronic ignition. Some of these older cars still have points and condensers, which can also be causing your symptom. Good Luck!!
